SUMMARY: Hexorexa collects minimal personal data. We only collect your email if you voluntarily subscribe to updates. We do not sell your data, use advertising trackers, or transmit localStorage data to any server.

1. WHO WE ARE

Hexorexa is an independent educational platform operated solely by Aditya Pahariya at hexorexa.com. This platform is operated independently and is not affiliated with any employer or organization. For the purposes of India's DPDPA 2023, Aditya Pahariya is the Data Fiduciary.

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

2.1 Data You Actively Provide

• Email address: Only when you voluntarily subscribe to our update list. This is the only personal data actively collected by Hexorexa.
• Contact enquiries: Any message you send to contact@hexorexa.com.

2.2 Browser localStorage (Stored on YOUR Device Only)

Hexorexa uses localStorage to save the following on your own device only — never transmitted to our servers:

• Your tool progress and scorecard results
• Your UI preferences and consent acknowledgement
• Temporary session data for interactive tools

IMPORTANT: localStorage data is stored entirely on your local device. Hexorexa cannot access, read, or recover it. It is deleted if you clear your browser storage.

2.3 Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to collect anonymised, aggregated data (region, browser type, pages visited). This does not identify you personally.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• Product updates: To send new feature announcements and significant changes
• Premium notifications: To notify you when Premium features are available (if opted in)
• Support: To respond to direct enquiries

We will NEVER sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

• Email subscription: Your freely given, specific, informed consent (DPDPA s.7; GDPR Art.6(1)(a))
• Contact enquiries: Legitimate interest in responding to communications

You may withdraw email consent at any time by emailing contact@hexorexa.com with subject line "Unsubscribe".

5. DATA RETENTION

• Email addresses: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Contact enquiries: Retained up to 2 years for service continuity
• localStorage data: On your local device only — not in Hexorexa's possession

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Under DPDPA 2023 and GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access: Obtain confirmation of whether we hold your data and receive a copy
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw email consent at any time
• Complain: Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India

7. DATA SECURITY

We use HTTPS, secure email handling, and minimal data collection. No passwords or payment data are collected or stored at this time.

8. COOKIES

Hexorexa does not use tracking cookies. Only localStorage is used for functionality. If this changes, a new consent notice will be presented before any cookies are set.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Contact us immediately if you believe a minor has submitted data.
